Jim Rutledge T9 at Champions Q school.. Talbot in the hunt at Sr.European Q school

Jim has just completed his 2nd round at is currently T9 after a battling -3 69 to go with yesterday's -2 70 for a -5 139 total.
He started with 2 birdies then birdied the par 5 8th to go out in 33. Then came bogey's at 11 and 13 but he fought back with birdies at 14 and 15 before parring in.

Right now the clubhouse leader is Trevor Dodds at -7, 137, but Frankie Mimoza is at -10 playing his back 9..

They are playing the TPC Eagle Trace in Coral Springs Florida..

He is seeking one of the five fully-exempt berths that are available at this year's 72-hole event.


European Senior Tour Q School ( Pestana Golf Resort, Portugal)

Gordon Manson will take a two stroke advantage into the final round of European Senior Tour Qualifying School after a battling two under par 69 in tough conditions in Portugal. He has a 208 total

The cut fell at +9, 222 and 44 players have made it.. 6 full time spots are up for grabs with the next 8 getting conditional status..
2 Canucks are in the field

Ken Tarling 73,71, 79  223 just missed by a stroke ! ( Ken Tarling is a former Canadian Tour winner and one of Canada’s top instructors.. Ken is currently the Director of Instruction at The Ken Tarling Golf Academy in Stouffville)

Daniel Talbot 73,72 71 216 had one of the rounds of the day in stiff wind and rain. Only 4 players broke par of 71. He starts play tomorrow 8 shots off the lead.
