AIG Women's Open Thursday tee times/pairings https://www.lpga.com/tournaments/aigwomensopen/leaderboard
Surrounded by a cloud of criticism for slow play by some of it's members, the LPGA has moved across Scotland to the SW coast to Royal Troon in Ayrshire for the AIG Women's Open' with many of it's stars returning from COVID isolation.
Dame Laura Davies will hit the 1st tee shot at 630am on Thursday, and there is stormy weather in the forecast. Many of the women have rallied to have the " British" Open played on the same links course rota as the men, and Davies has led the way. She will now add Troon to her bucket list.
Brooke Henderson will return to play after a 5 month absence, so we'll see what shape her game is in, and Alena Sharp will join her.
Danielle Kang with her 2 consecutive wins, just missed the playoff last week by a shot, is the betting favourite with the British bookies. Inbee Park has returned although several other top Koreans have not, Lexi Thompson, the Korda sisters to name a few are back in the field.
Weather : There will be a stiff wind blowing all week up to 40kph, with lots of rain in the forecast, so scoring will be at a premium, so will patience. This will be a real test for this field.
