PGA Tour : Travelers Championship Tee Times Leaderboard
His recent 3rd at the RBC Canadian Open has given Norway's Viktor Hovland the confidence he has carried into this week at the Travelers Championship where he leads by a shot at 65 61 64 -20
He wasn't playing well after WD from the Memorial, having MC at the PGA Championship, and again at the US Open, however his play at Osprey Valley gave him a swing thought he says he could trust.
"As soon as I find a certain feel i can trust the produces a reliable shot shape, I know I can score pretty well from there. So no matter whether i score -2 or -9 that's not the most important thing. As soon as I see the shot shapes I am trying to execute, that is what gives me confidence".
Viktor is also buoyed by the performance of Norway who play the Ivory Coast African team in the round of 32 today in Dallas at the 2026 FIFA World Championships !!
He is followed by Scott Scheffler 64 60 67 -19 as expected on this vulnerable TPC River Run course, and the rest of the field is next at -15 when play begins at 845am.
Keep in mind this is the last signature event of 2026 worth $20,000,000 so even though the following Canadians are not in contention, a low round on Sunday is worth a lot of money.
