Only 21 rounds of play on Saturday at Muirfield Village were completed, the rest at varying stages were finally suspended for the day at 4.35pm
The first suspension of over an hour at 11.10am lasted an hour and 40 minutes before resuming at 1.00 pm
Leaders JP Poston and Ryan Gerard didn't tee off until 3.20 pm, and remain at -9 after playing just 5 holes.
SUNDAY
Round 3 is set to resume at 7.30am, then round 4 at around 11am, paired in threes off split tees #1 and #10.

* Scheffler T12 played 14 holes in -2 remains at -1 total 8 shots behind
* Rory T12 remains at -1 total after 16 holes 8 shots behind
* Justin Thomas got 18 holes done playing 1st as a single in 72 shots, saying after the Morning rain delay the course became softer, easier saying " not the same as yesterday, not even close."
OPINION
Although there is a marathon Sunday ahead, it will be to varying degrees with the leaders have the most to play.
However all week we have been saying Sunday's weather although still hot and muggy will have significantly less wind, and will be less penal due that and to the rain, so expect scoring to be lower.
