The Meteorologist's office at the RBC Canadian Open hasn't closed all night, it is their call the governs everything this Sunday morning regarding what will transpire today at this 122nd RBC Canadian Open.
Right now here in Toronto the sky is mainly overcast, air is calm, however up in Caledon 45 minutes NW of the city the radar map shows the huge incoming system is already right over the TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley North GC, where the Superintendent and his staff are setting the pins with the Tournament officials.

OPINION
* Lightning in the area is #1 reason they will evacuate course and stop play, and there is lots of it in the forecast.
* Canadian hopes of another home win are realistic after our self taught rookie Sudarshan Yellamaraju has posted 69 66 65 -10 just 3 shots off the lead.
* However there are 17 players within 4 shots and they include defending champion Ryan Fox -9, Sam Burns runner up last year -10, Matt Fitzpatrick -9, past champion Bob MacIntyre -9, Viktor Hovland -9 and Billy Horschel at -10.
* The playoff, should there be one is Sudden Death
* The US Open field next week is already set except for a few spots left open dependent on what happens here, and the weather forecast for Monday is good if needed.
* Reducing the event to 54 holes is a possibility, albeit unlikely.
