There will be a sudden death playoff this morning to decide the final standings at this years Travelers Championship after a torrential weather delay on Sunday meant play was called due to darkness.
Both Scheffler and Hovland had putts to win on the 72nd hole, both missed, so will return in front of friends and family I would think to the 18th tee to resolve the issue. Both are at -21, Collin Morikawa with the day's best 61 will be 3rd at -20.
I dare say with Norway and the USA in the round of 32 this week, 32 nations just waiting to explode just like Canada did yesterday with their emotional 1-0 historic win over a brave South African team, this little playoff in a quiet corner of Connecticut on a private TPC River Highlands course won't get that kind of exposure or response form either Scott Scheffler or Viktor Hovland, but we sure know who these guys are "pulling" for !!
