Wade Ormsby wins Hong Kong Open

Veteran Aussie Wade Ormsby with scores of 65,66,66,66 -17 led from wire to wire to win the delayed Hong Kong Open by 4 shots over Open champion Shane Lowry (64 -13) Tony Finau was (67, -10) who was 5th.

It was Ormsby's 2nd title having won in 2017, and he was the model of consistency all week.

Four players from Hong Kong thrilled local fans by making the cut, especially 17 year old school boy Alexander Yang who finished with a 68 -7 total and T13, to win the Sir David Trench Cup for low amateur and also the Hong Kong Golf Club Trophy for the best score for any player from Hong Kong
