PGA Tour Farmers Insurance Open leaderboard https://www.pgatour.com/leaderboard.html
Some pretty big names bowed out of this Farmers Insurance Open on Friday. Phil Mickelson, Rickie Fowler, Gary Woodland, Justin Rose, Xander Schauffele have all gone home or elsewhere for the next few days.
Ryan Palmer is at the other end of the scale after his -10 62 on the North course for a 2 shot lead over resurgent Brandt Snedeker (67 -8) who won here in 2016 and loves poa annua greens. Palmer lost in a playoff 2 years ago.
Tiger played the south, took 4 putts for a double on his opening hole, birdied 8,9,10 then stalled the rest of the way. His 71 dropped him 6 shots behind at -4. Rory McIlroy (73) is also at -4.
Canadian scoring: The cut fell at -1, Roger Sloan (76 69), Mac Hughes(73 72) and Michael Gligic (71 74) all missed it.
