Jam packed leaderboard going into Friday at the Farmers Insurance Open...DeLaet withdraws

PGA Tour Farmers Insurance leaderboard https://www.pgatour.com/competition/2020/farmers-insurance-open/leaderboard.html

After a spectacular opening day by the calm blue Pacific ocean with the Navy Jets roaring overhead this years Farmers Insurance Open on the north and south courses at Torrey Pines near San Diego is off and running with a jam packed leaderboard, which doesn't include Tiger Woods, yet.

You may remember the south course here is the championship course playing 4 shots tougher than the north. The US Open will be there again next year.

There are 2 players leading at -6, Korn Ferry graduate from Denmark, Sebastien Cappalen a remarkable 66 (SC) and the always nervous Keegan Bradley 66 (NC).

8 players are next at -5 including Rory McIlroy 67 (NC) and stranger to the headlines Bubba Watson 67 (SC).

10 more are at -4 including recently married, champion of the European Tour John Rahm 68 (NC).

Then there are 13 more at -3 which includes Tiger with a 69 (NC) and he has declared himself happy with that. As you know in his hey day the California kid won here a staggering 8 times, and of course every time he tees it up he might break Sam Snead's record 82 wins.

As for the 4 Canadians the best so far is Michael Gligic T50 with a -1 71 (NC). Mac Hughes +1 73 (NC) T87 and Roger Sloan +4 76 (NC) T131.

Sadly Graham Delaet has been forced to WD with a resurgence of back issues just 5 tournaments into his return from surgery and rehab
