When Brooke Henderson lost 3 shots in two holes early in her round on Saturday she had a battle on her hands. As is her mantra, she did just that, got her head down and ground out at +1 72 to begin play today T5 at -8, five shots behind a re-vitalized Inbee Park who was her playing partner and shot a -4 67 to get to -13 for a 2 shot lead over fellow South Korean Sei Young Kim (67 -11).
Park made her only bogey of the week at the 18th, she doesn't make many mistakes and couples that with the reputation as the best putter on any tour.
So Brooke has nothing to lose in this invitational season opener, but it will need a special day to catch and beat the stars ahead of her.
