The captains Geoff Ogilvy / Brandt Snedeker have announced their fourball matches for this morning at the revamped par 70 7500yd Medinah CC for the 1st session of this years Presidents Cup.
* 4 day match play, 30 matches between 12 man teams from Internationals vs USA
* Thursday 5 fourball matches
* Friday 5 foursome matches
* Saturday 8 matches split : 4 morning fourball matches, afternoon 4 foursome matches
* Sunday 12 singles matches
PREDICTION
* The USA are heavy favourites to continue to dominate this event 13-1-1, especially at the new Medinah which is soft from recent rain, and is considered a bombers course now with wide fairways and big greens.

OPINION
* FYI, International captain, Australian Geoff Ogilvy and his design team were hired to do the Medinah CC renovations !!
* The main analyst on the Golf Channel, Brandel Chamblee is foremost among the rest of the American media, in giving the International Team enough of the usual underdog fodder, to ensure, even when they didn't need it, to be motivated in the age old David vs Goliath role that is about to unfold.
At one point he and host Rich Learner were concerned that " this thing could get out of hand in a hurry and " you can't sugar coat it, you just cant see how these guys have a chance"
* A huge US advantage rarely mentioned on this side of the pond is that their team here this week is the same core of the Ryder Cup team in 2025, where as the International team is nearly new every 2nd year.
* So nothing to lose, everything to gain for the Internationals, I expect them to prove themselves more than worthy opponents, it is a TEAM game.
