Another top 10 for Henderson as Minjee Lee wins LA Open

Back in 2013,14 before she turned professional as a 17 year old in 2015, Brooke Henderson competed month in and month out with a another diminutive girl from Australia called Minjee Lee for the world's #1 amateur ranking.

The week before last, Brooke won the LOTTE Championship in Hawaii and Lee was T3. This week Lee won the Hugel-Air Premia LA Open on at Wilshire Country Club for her fifth LPGA Tour title, closing with a -3 68 for a four-stroke victory at -14, her fourth top-three finish in her last seven starts. Brooke rallied from 73 on Friday with a 69 68 weekend T10 at -6. In 8 outings this year she has 5 T10's and a win.

Coming in, the first half of the year that I’ve had, I’ve been hitting it pretty solid and playing pretty solid,” Lee said. “I felt like it was close. I feel pretty good with this one.
She is projected to move to #2 in the world, while Brooke is currently at #7.
