Branden Grace shot a closing 69, one of only 4 rounds under 70, to become the first man to successfully defend the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters and win the coveted Mother of Pearl trophy.
He started the day two shots behind two-time champion Paul Lawrie who succumbed to the wind with a 78 to let Grace in, and the South African took advantage getting to -14 under to win by two shots from Rafa Cabrera-Bello and Thorbjørn Olesen.
The Spaniard closed with three birdies to finish with a 70 good enough T2 alongside Olesen who made a birdie putt on the last for 71.
Bradley Dredge finished with four birdies for a fine 69 to shoot up to -11 with Andrew Johnston and Lee Slattery who both shot 70.
It was Grace's 7th European Tour win, his first since this time last year, and he remains ranked #11 in the world.
Remember this event runs from Wednesday - Saturday as Sunday is the start of the work week in many countries in the middle east.

Headliner Sergio Garcia finished his first event of the year, 70 66 74 70 -2 and as usual he was superb from tee to green, but he was painful to watch on the greens, missing away too many from 8 feet and in.
