DP World Tour : Austrian Alpine Open Leaderboard
With a great drive splitting the 18th fairway and superb 215 yard approach to 17 feet, Aaron Cockerill finally got a putt to drop today, this one for an eagle 3, after missing several makeable birdie putts away, it was one of those rounds.
With rounds of 66 69 67 he is in the clubhouse T10 at -8.
Aaron has not had a great year thus far, he has dropped to 360owgr and to 120th in the Race to Dubai, however after a week at US Qualifying at Walton Heath 72 72 E T53, he returned with an opening 65 T1 at the Soudal Open in Belgium, he best start of the season. However once again he did not capitalize on it albeit in some very difficult weather, finishing 72 72 71 T31.
A strong finish on Sunday should go a long way to getting the year headed in the right direction with the meat of the DP World Tour season ahead.
The leader wrapping up his 3rd round is German, Marcel Schneider at -15. He has held the lead all week.
