Hughes set to vie for 3rd PGA Tour Championship...SPECIAL BAD WEATHER STATEMENT.

With rounds of 63 69 70, 202 -11 Mac Hughes will begin his final round at the Dunes Golf and Beach club weather permitting, at a Canadian hotspot for winter holiday golf, Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, in 3rd place just 2 shots behind American Carson Young at -13.

The veteran Canadian from Hamilton turned pro in 2013 after coming through the Canadian National program, coached by Derek Ingram has two wins on his resume, The RBC Heritage and the Sanderson Farms and is set to vie for his 3rd today.

WEATHER 

Special Weather Statement 640am: A line of strong thunderstorms is extending from Nixonville to Myrtle Beach travelling NE 35mph.

Hazard : Wind gusts 40mph with pea size hail. Torrential rain is accompanying these storms which can be damaging.

The threat is predicted to diminish as the morning goes on.
