Scores of 66 63 68 71 -12 were just enough to hold off playing partner Matti Schmitt 66 63 68 72 -11. Rickie Fowler the 3rd member of this group struggled to a closing +4 74 to end up a disappointing T16.

Four years ago he packed in the game, became a Mortgage Loan officer like his mother. A chance wrong turn ending up on a golf course was the start of his journey back, grinding through the ranks, now he has won twice in 5 weeks, moving this year's earnings to $4.9 million and a career high $11.6 and a spot amongst the elite at world #24.

" Just standing on the last green, having won on this tour is an incredible feeling I can't describe, but one I want to keep feeling."

Scheffler the focus of all the media attention, was just ordinary on Sunday closing -1 69 T4 -8.
