PGA Championship 2025...Entry List
After all the drama over the weekend, with Austrian Sepp Straka and Kiwi Ryan Fox who both qualified for the PGA Tour off the Strategic Alliance agreement with the DP World Tour to allow the top 10 players at seasons end, 2 year status in the States, both moving into the owgr top 10, the final field has been set for this week's 2nd major, the PGA Championship, at Quail Hollow in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Mac Hughes had his best week of the year at Myrtle Beach moving up to #44 owgr, he had a putt to win it outright on the last hole, and a putt to tie in the playoff after Fox sensationally chipped in from the fringe, however his T2 reflects his strong play and terrific putting over the last 3 events he has played in.
Straka's rise from the rank and file on the DP WORLD Tour to one of the PGA Tour elite at #9 in the world, the only player apart from Rory to claim two wins this season, is remarkable.
Ryan Fox, also got PGA Tour status after a great 2023 on the DP World Tour, saw his game decline in America all of 2024, and in fact so far this season, however his perseverance and self belief paid off with a return to form in Myrtle Beach.
Canadians
Hughes now owgr #44, calls Charlotte NC his home these days and he is a member at Quail Hollow. He will be welcoming his four Canadian pals this week, to the PGA Championship.
Corey Conners #21, Nick Taylor #36, Taylor Pendrith #49 and Adam Hadwin #92 will all join him on this, one of the players favourite courses, this week.
