LPGA: Honda LPGA Thailand leaderboard
Brooke Henderson is at the Honda LPGA Thailand as the lone Canadian this week, and she is off to a great start in this 2022 season.
She leads the LPGA in birdies (68) and is 3rd in Race to CME Globe points and has 3 top 10's in her first 4 starts which is tied for the lead. On Thursday (Thailand is 13 hours ahead) she tees off at 10am local with defending champion and Thai superstar, Ariya Jutanugarn and Minjee Lee the Asian Australian, who is now 4th in the world rankings.
The field is limited to 67 players, 27 of the top 50 are playing for a purse of $1.6 million at the Siam GC in Chonburi.
Ariya and her sister Moriya get the same attention in Thailand as Brooke Henderson gets here in Canada, and they are 2 of 12 players from the Land of Smile now on the LPGA Tour.
