We haven't had any TV coverage of this week's DP World Tour event in South Africa, MyGolfLife Open, but you will remember last week Aaron Cockerill was in contention right down to the final holes and his T6 qualified him for this week.
His fine form has continued with 65 66 -13 just 4 shots off the lead in 6th place going into the weekend.
update 3rd round: Aaron slipped on his front nine with 3 straight bogey's at 7,8,9, but fought back with a birdie at the 10th. He steadied the ship and made pars the rest of the way for +2 74 T27 at -11
Meanwhile the lead is held by South African Hennie Du Plessis having a great week 62 65 and he posted -2 70 for -19
So top 10 must be Aaron's target I'd think, they all get invited to the next tournament, he still has 18 holes to play with -14 being around the 10th spot, so this is very doable for this talented Canadian.
