Breaking news ... Play has been suspended at 11.20am due to bad weather including heavy rain, standing water and later thunder and lightning. Players and fans leaving the course...Forecast is not good for the remainder of the day.
Play began this morning at 7.15am on a dull overcast Friday at this soggy Players Championship.
The early wave players from Thursday finished their rounds at 7.48am.
The late wave from Thursday are either beginning or continuing their rounds this morning. That includes Adam Hadwin who is -1 thru 7 playing the course backwards and Mac Hughes who is +1 thru 13.
When this late wave finishes their Thursday rounds they are then scheduled to tee it up again as the Friday earlies, so a long day ahead for them.
Meanwhile the early wave from Thursday, are now the late wave for Friday so will have to wait to see if they play at all today.
More rain forecast around noon with T'Storms intensifying this afternoon.
