LPGA: Honda LPGA Thailand final results here.
I watched the end of what turned out to be a dramatic finish at this very hot, muggy 2022 Honda LPGA Thailand in the wee hours this morning.
Danish star Nanna Koerstz Madsen squandered a 4 shot lead over the last 3 holes while China's Xiyu Lin made 2 birdies and caught her at -26. After 2 playoff holes on the 18th Madsen made an eagle for her first win and the first win by a Danish player on the LPGA Tour.
'"That's sums up the story for Brooke this week, just didn't quite do it enough with the flat stick"
Those were the commentator's words as Brooke Henderson after 2 brilliant shots to 10' missed her eagle putt for the 2ns day at the shortened 18th par 5.
Still it was another top 10, her 4th in 5 events this year, She finished with just 1 bogey, 6 more birdies -5 67, -23 T4 just 3 shots out of the playoff.
This tour is now off until March 24th in Carlsbad, California where it will be warm, but dry for the JTBC Classic sponsored by Barbasol.
