Will it be Taylor at the Sony... full scoreboard / Sunday TEE TIMES

PGA Tour : Sony Open Leaderboard

In his last three starts on the Waialae course at the Sony Open Nick Taylor has been T7 T7 T11, he obviously knows how to play it and the wind.

After 66 68 then a Saturday 65 he begins play today T5 at -11 two shots behind leader JJ Spaun at -13.

However the leaderboard is jam packed, with 3 players at -12, another 5 joining Taylor at -11, and 5 more at 10, making this look like a Sunday playoff unless one of the leaders shoots something like 62.

In all my trips to Hawaii, the wind nearly always blows, and this course is just east of the famous Waikiki Beach on the island Oahu and the capital Honolulu, where I have spent many hours in respite from the cold Canadian winter.

It was blowing hard at the turn on Saturday, and the forecast is more of the same today, hot and breezy from the SW.

So will it be Taylor's turn this year.. He certainly has a great chance...however so do 20 others !

Other Canadians

Taylor Pendrith T37 69 66 69 -6

Adam Svensson T37  70 65 69 -6

Adam Hadwin T46  65 71 69 -5

Ben Silverman T66 69 6 71 -2
