Waste Management Phoenix Open leaderboard here
It's very important when scoring is low, to get off to a start that keeps you in the mix, and all 3 Canadians managed that in ideal weather at the Waste Management Phoenix.
Adam Hadwin leads the way with his bogey free T12 -4 67 just four shots back of co-leaders Matthew NeSmith and Mark Hubbard -8 63 who played in virtual silence early in the morning.
By the way, and because you many never heard of him 'NeSmith" is not a typo....
Corey Connors is T37th -2 69 and Nick Taylor T50th -1 70
Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas both are starting today T50th -1 70 as well.
They did allow 5000 fans in, spread out throughout the course instead of the usual 200,000, with the predawn lineup eager to cram into the party at the stadium par 3 16th.
