Rory McIlroy opened up with -8 64, followed with an early morning finish  to round two at E 72 at this HSBC Abu Dhabi Championship.

Then after a little breakfast he went out again and minutes ago posted a -5 67 with an chip in eagle and 5 birdies in a swirling breeze to take back the lead at -13, a shot ahead of Tyrrell Hatton who shot 71 and Tommy Fleetwood who had the lead a couple of times, putting the lights out at -11.

Rory has been 2nd here 4 times in 11 tries. Remember he 

has won 3 Race to Dubai titles, 3 WGC titles and 4 majors, not

to mention a Fed Ex Cup at only 31.
