Sony Open final results here
Buoyed by his career low 62 on Friday Nick Taylor went on for a 68 67 weekend to finish T11 -17 at this Sony Open while Mac Hughes shot 65 66 to finish T19th -15. Good top 20 finishes for the two Canadians in the 144 man field.

With tee times moved up on Sunday to beat the heavy rain forecast the low scoring on the vulnerable Waialae GC continued and in the end veteran Kevin Na who had only 1 win in 369 starts on tour, but has now won 4 times in the last 4 years, and moved up to 23rd in the World Rankings. He shot 61 65 to get to -21 a shot ahead of Joaquin Niemann (63 66) -20 and Chris Kirk who shot four consecutive 65's. Niemann was 2nd twice for his efforts in Hawaii.
Next week it's the old Bob Hope, now called the American Express at PGA West and LaQuinta There are no celebrities this year...
