Farmers Insurance Open leaderboard here
Adam Hadwin has taken his turn this year to lead the Canadian contingent after a -2 70 finds him 4 shots off the lead at T14 -5 heading into Saturday at the Farmers Insurance Open.
Super Norwegian Victor Hovland shot a very credible -7 65 on the tough south course to lead at -9 over a group of six including Jon Rahm, Patrick Reed and Adam Scott all bunched up at -8. The weather I mentioned yesterday hit San Diego, with rain and wind overnight spilling into Friday causing a suspension of play for an hour.
Weather : All the players will play the south course at Torrey Pines today and tomorrow, where the US Open is scheduled latter in the summer. There was no more rain over night which had made the rough very tough and the sun will be out all day albeit cool by California standards at 55*f, with very little breeze, so expect scores to be lower than Friday.
Roger Sloan T29 -3 68 73, Corey Connors T54 -1 72 71, the cut fell at -1 so Mac Hughes 70 74, Jared du Toit 70 75, David Hearn 74 77, and Michael Gligic 79 77 all M/C.
