After only 10 tournaments in 2020 Brooke Henderson returns from holidays to play this week. She spent Christmas at home where she self isolated for 14 days before joining her family for a month. She then returned to her home in Florida to practice.
" Last year was a change for sure only playing in 10 events when I'm used to more than 30. My dad and I have looked at this year's schedule, and we have a plan, starting this week, then two more events in Florida, and we'll go from there, and we'll see what happens with COVID of course."
There is a full season ahead, including the Tokyo Olympics in August and the Solheim Cup in September. All the majors are back, including the AIG Women's Open at Carnoustie, and the Evian Championship in France.
This week winners from the 2018, 2019, and 2020 seasons are at the Four Seasons Golf and Sports Club in Orlando, with 2020 DRTOC winner Gaby Lopez and World No. 4 Nelly Korda, No. 5 Danielle Kang and Brooke at No. 6
The restricted field of 25 includes 53 celebrities who will tee alongside the LPGA Tour players all four days. Notable celebrities include two-time defending DRTOC celebrity winner and World Series champion John Smoltz, Anika Sorenstam and avid golfer and actor Jack Wagner.
