Tommy Fleetwood is ranked 17th in the world

Seven times a winner, a world traveller on the DP World Tour, three Ryder Cups, Olympic Silver medalist, this down to earth, working class lad from Southport in England, just 17 miles from Liverpool, has played his way from school boy golf in England, to his on golf Academy in Dubai and everything in between.

He has more top 10 finishes on the PGA Tour without a win than anybody, 41.

Rounds of 66 65 63 -16, the man they call Jesus because of his long flowing hair, finds him 3 shots clear of local, Keegan Bradley T2, 64 70 63 -13 who holds the TPC River Highlands record at -23 and another shot maker Russell Henley T2 68 68 61 -13.

He is regarded as a premiere iron player, he never missed a fairway in the extremely hot conditions on Saturday, the same again on a weather warning hot Sunday will be his goal.

The highest score on this short, easy by Tour standards TPC River Highlands was +4 74, the lowest -9 61, the field average 67.3. The record held by Jim Furyk is -12 58.
