PGA Tour : The Memorial Tournament. Results
Where ever they are, 21 Canadians are heading to a new course for the RBC Canadian Open tonight or tomorrow, at Osprey Valley in Caledon.
Nick Taylor along with Corey Conners, Taylor Pendrith, Mac Hughes, and Adam Hadwin will be taking the 1hour 7 minute flight from Cleveland-Hopkins International to Pearson, usually RBC has laid a flight to get all the guys at the Memorial here.
While Monday and Tuesday are forecast to be all sunshine there is rain in the forecast for the Toronto area next week into the weekend.
However the US Open style tough test that Muirfield Village GC posed this week will prepare them for anything.
Nick Taylor was the top Canadian, in contention for the lead all week, finishing 69 68 74 73 -4, $1,000,000 dollars richer alone in 4th place behind eventual winner Scottie Scheffler 70 70 68 70 -10, which should put him in great fettle to return to the event of his most famous win with that 72 foot winning playoff putt in 2023.
Taylor Pendrith T12 73 72 73 70 E $415,000
Corey Conners T25 73 73 71 75 +4 $159,000
Mac Hughes T39 $82,000
Adam Hadwin T51 76 73 72 78 +11 $49,500
Rory is the headliner, a two time champion, he declined to play the Memorial, rather preferring to play the week before the US Open at Oakmont.
