Volvo China Open..TEE TIMES .. edit ***

DP World Tour : Volvo China Open Tee Times

Shanghai China is about as far as you can get from Augusta, Georgia, geographically and culturally. but that is where the DP World is gathering this week.

While there is strong Chinese contingent, there are a lot of regulars who have been off for at least a fortnight who have made the trip to the Enhance Anting GC for the first time.

edit **** Defending champion Adrian Otaegui gave us his scouting report:

“Completely new course, completely different to last year; different climate, different type of course, but I’ve been out there already, and I quite like it,” said the Spanish-born Emirati. “It’s a bit linksy, the fairways run quite a lot. I’m looking forward to it.

He believes mastering the wind will be key to conquering the Robert Trent Jones Jr-designed course.

“Not just if the wind is strong, but the direction can change the course a lot,” he said. “Some short holes can become difficult into the wind or with a crosswind. I think it can make quite a big difference.

“In general, the fairways are wide but if you miss one you’re in trouble. The greens are small, so it will be important to be straight and wise strategically, being smart on a few holes.”

While Rory won over $4,000,000 at Augusta, the rich just get richer on the PGA Tour with this week's RBC Heritage another $20,000,000 signature event for the top 60 and ties, headlined by Scottie Scheffler with $3,600,000 to the winner.

Meanwhile the winner in China, will receive $433,500 from a total purse $2,550,000. Now you can see why they all want to make it to America.
