Svensson /Davis shoot 61 for a chance on Sunday in New Orleans

PGA Tour : Zurich Championship of New Orleans  Leaderboard  Tee Times

" If we can shoot something lower on Saturday, I like our chances on Sunday" said Adam Hadwin after he and boyhood buddy Nick Taylor tied for the low round of Thursdays foursomes with -6 66.

These guys hold the foursomes record with a 63 when they placed 2nd here in 2023.

A male golfer looks off into the distance while watching his shot as he holds his club up with both hands.

Their Canadian team mate Adam Svensson is having a great week as well with Aussie Cam Davis,  T6, 61 72 61 -22

So where do they all stand heading into todays final round, where all eyes will be on defending champions Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry.

There are 8 groups within 5 shots of the lead.

Adam Svensson/Cam Davis were 1 of 7 groups who shot -11 61 in yesterday's 4ball.

1. Adam Novak/ Ben Griffin -27 (both hoping for 1st wins on Tour)

2. Knapp/ Caplan -24     Hisatsune/ Kanaya -24

4. Hojgaard twins Rasmus, Nicolai -23   Salinda/Velo -23

6. Svensson/ Davis -22.  McIlroy. Lowry -22,  List / Norlander T22

22. Hadwin / Taylor  66 66 65 - 19
