Thomas ties course record, Hughes T4 at RBC Heritage...full scoreboard

PGA Tour : RBC Heritage 2025..Leaderboard

After all the tension and stress that accompanies the Master, Thursday at the swanky Hilton Head resort up the coast in South Carolina was everything that have had tourists and winter home makers flock to the area for many decades.

Pristine, not a breath of wind, sea birds squawking in off the Atlantic Ocean. a picture perfect day.

50 of the 72 players broke par 71, the average score was 69.2

Justin Thomas who admits he did not play well at Augusta, had time to work out "a few things" on his way to an 11 birdie -10 61, tying the course record,, and leading by 3 shots.

This was not a stern test at all. it was the lowest score over the Harbour Town course in 10 years, and Thomas predicts it will be all they can handle as it firms up as the week goes on.

Defending champion Scottie Scheffler had a "stress-free" round of -7 64 along with shotmaker Russell Henley who won over $3m at Arnies place earlier this spring.

Justin Rose came in with -4 67. Rory is on holiday.

Mac Hughes T3 -3 68 is out in the early wave this Easter Friday morning.

Corey Conners, Nick Taylor T44 -1 70

Adam Hadwin T63 +1 72

Taylor Pendrith T67 +2 73
