Harman leads, Svensson top Canadian at Valspar Texas Open... 36 hole results

With two rounds of 66, former Open Championship winner, lefty Brian Harman has his A game working, good for a commanding 4 shot lead at -12 heading into the last weekend before the Masters where he will play for the 7th time. Bad weather is in the Saturday forecast.

Playing the TPC Antonio Oak Course backwards he was out with 4 birdies,, a lone bogey - 33, and he did the same coming in with a wayward drive on his last spoiling his bogey free nine -3 33 for the -6 66.

American Keith Mitchell 64 -2 is 2nd, -8 followed by Sam Ryder, Ryo Hisatsune and Matt Wallace are all 3rd -7. 

The top Canadian is Adam Svensson, also playing off the 10th brilliantly with 5 birdies, just 1 bogey for 32, all pars coming in with two late bogey's at the 5th and 9th for 38 spoiling the party, -2 70 T37 -3

Corey Conners T52 71 71 -2 just making the cut on the number. Corey, Taylor Pendrith, Nick Taylor and Mike Weir are the 4 Canadians in the 97 man field at the Masters..

Ben Silverman  70 73 has MC by a shot.

Defending champion Akshay Bhatia 74 70 has also missed the cut. His win here paved the way for his 2nd appearance at Augusta next week.

WEATHER 

Saturday :  With a cold front moving through San Antonio temperature has dropped. 74*f wind SW 12mph, probability of rain, thunder, lightning 72%.

Sunday : Much cooler 65*f sunny with SW wind at 16mph as the storm has blown through.
