LPGA Tour : CME Group Tour Championship leaderboard here
After opening with a creditable -4 68 on Thursday on the Tiburon course in Naples, Florida Brooke Henderson slipped out of contention on Friday with a +2 74 T26 -2 some 11 shots behind runaway leader Lydia Ko 65 66 -13 who is 5 shots clear of the field.
In round 2 on Friday, Brooke made 14 pars, but only 1 birdie with 3 bogey's. While she hit 12/14 fairways she slipped to 11/18 greens in regulation down from 16/18 on Thursday.
With Lydia in command there is still a long way to go, and if Brooke is going to contend for any of Sunday's trophies she will need to begin today when she tees off at 9.50am.
There is a $2,000,000 bonus for the player who wins the season long Race to CME Globe title. Henderson came into the week ranked 4th.
