They are anything but triplets but 3 of the 4 Canadians in this weeks LeCom Suncoast Classic at Lakewood Ranch in Florida, Ben Silverman, Taylor Pendrith and Adam Svensson, have identical -12 scores, all T25 and all shot 70 yesterday to slip 6 shots out of the lead.
The 4th member Mike Weir 70 68 68 -10 is T41.
Leading a tightly packed scoreboard is Peter Uihlein 68 64 66 -18. He is the wealthy son of Wally Uihlein, former President and CEO of Acushnet who own several golf brands including Titleist and Footjoy. Acushnet was sold to a Korean conglomerate in 2011 for $1.23 billion.
There are 26 players within 5 shots of the lead.
