LPGA ISPS Handa Vic Open final scoreboard https://www.lpga.com/tournaments/isps-handa-vic-open/results
All in all it was a good week for Alena Sharp down under, in contention all week with 68 69 70, sitting solo 3rd going into the final round.
With the wind howling and bogey actually a good score at the Handa Vic Open. the leaders Ayean Cho and Madelene Sagstrom both shot 81. Alena fought hard but had 5 bogey's for 41 on her front nine. She birdied 10 and came home in 36 for a +5 77 -5 total on the week T9.
The winning score over 4 days was only -8 as Korean Hee Young Park won a 3 way playoff with birdie on the 4th hole.
On the men's side Aussie Min Woo Lee won for the first time, on a course his sister Minjee won in 2018. She was waiting for him at the 18th.
I thoroughly enjoyed the format this week with men and women competing on the same course. The wind, the wildlife, the links with spectators and their dogs walking the fairways was a refreshing change to the usual big corporate game.
