This weekend in golf..... leaderboards

Jason Day made a pair of long birdie putts and otherwise put on a clinic at Bay Hill for a 7-under 65 that gave him a two-shot lead over Henrik Stenson going into the weekend.

David Hearn fired a -5 67 to get to -6 T11for the championship

Sei Young Kim has made it look simple, following her opening 9-under 63 with a 66 to break the tournament 36-hole record at 15-under 129.

Brooke Henderson is 7-under after a 69 on Friday. Fellow Canadians Maude-Aimee LeBlanc and Alena Sharp held a share of 64th at 3 under.

Woody Austin had six birdies in a seven-hole stretch and shot a 7-under 65 on Friday to take the first-round lead in the PGA Tour Champions’ Tucson Conquistadores Classic.

Stephen Ames is 3-under 69.

A stunning front nine saw course specialist SSP Chawrasia turn a three-shot deficit into a two-shot lead during the third round of the Hero Indian Open at Delhi Golf Club.

Home favourite Chawrasia, who won the 2008 Indian Masters over the same 6,983-yard tree-lined layout, carded four birdies in an outward 32 to reach -14.
That was enough to reel in halfway leader Terry Pilkadaris who finished at -12

Matt Fast grabbed the clubhouse lead with a 6-under 65 in the second round of the Chitimacha Louisiana Open .
 
Second-round play was halted for two hours because of the threat of lightning. Players were able to restart and play for an additional two hours before play was suspended for the day at 5:34 p.m. local time. Half the field will return this morning and restart their second round at 8 a.m.
