In yesterday's post I mentioned Brooke Henderson who was T5, had a daunting task to win today with a trio of South Koreans ahead of her.
Well one of those South Koreans, Ha Na Jang went out overnight here and shot a tournament low 65 to go with her 66 on Saturday and a grand total of -19 for a well deserved 4 shot win over Thai star Pornanong Phatlum (68) -15.
Henderson posted a solid -1 71 for a -9 total with 13 pars, 3 birdies and 2 bogey's, good to finish T9 to win $30,779. Incidently she was tied with the likes of Suzann Petterson and Stacy Lewis, pretty heady company for an 18 year old from Smith's Falls and it's her 3rd top 10 in a row.
It is the second win in 4 starts for the diminutive Jang, heck the trophy was almost as tall as she is, and she finished with a flourish, eagling the final hole before celebrating with a little dance inspired by Beyoncé.
