The French tricolour flies atop the flagpoles at the Tomson Shanghai Pudong GC as France’s Julien Quesne holds a one shot halfway lead over his countryman Alex Levy who shares second with American Peter Uihlein after an overcast, smoggy day at the Volvo China Open in Shanghai.
For those who've never heard of him, Quesne is now 34 and has won twice on the European Tour. He fired a -5 67 to get to -8 going into the weekend.
Levy who is defending his title, missed a birdie putt at 14 to get to -10 then, then made a double at 16 and a bogey at 17, before making birdie at the last for his -4 68. Uihlein eagled the 18th to highlight his 68.
