Mercifully Thomas Bjorn has just added the Johnny Walker Championship to the Qatar Masters he won earlier this year on the 5th playoff hole.
5 guys, Mark Foster, George Coetzee, Pablo Larrazabal and Bernd Weisberger joined Bjorn in the playoff, which was the par 5 18th.
None of them could get home in 2, which meant we had 5 100 yd par 3's in reality, and Bjorn played them better than the rest, in particular his 3 shots, which he kept stiffing.
This course at beautiful Gleneagles will host the 2014 Ryder Cup and if today is anything to go by they may have to re design the 18th to make it more exciting..
