Going into Sunday's play Jason Dufner (69) has played the brutal final 4 holes at the Atlanta Athletic Club better than anyone else in the field at -3.
As we all knew those holes would be the ultimate decider, and they were. Dufner made bogey on 15, 16 and 17 while Keegan Bradley (68) having tripled 15, birdied 16 then made a monster 50 footer for birdie on 17 to draw even and after pars at 18 forced the 3 hole playoff.
Bradley birdied 16 and when Dufner made bogey again on 17 the end was anti climatic, despite Dufner's brilliant birdie, Bradley 2 putted for par and the Wannamaker trophy will be a career maker for the young son of a golf pro and nephew of LPGA Hall of Famer Pat Bradley.
My pick #1 Luke Donald (68), fell short of the win but had yet another top 10 at -3 as did #2 Lee Westwood (68).
Bradley becomes the first American, albeit an unlikely one, to win a major since Mickelson in 2010
