Chris Baryla has just shot -6, 66 to finish at -12 to secure his card for next year. He already had a medical exemption after taking hip surgery but as it stands he is T12, so he won't need it now
If he hadn't made it he would have needed to make over $650,000 in 15 tournaments to stay on tour but now he is fully exempt and that's why he played.. He was on Crooked Cat where he shot 61 earlier this week and today he had 7 birdies including 5 in a row on his back nine !!!
I am waiting to hear from him .
Matt McQuillan is playing the par 5 17th and is in the front bunker in 2.. He is at -11 having just made bogey at 16.... He just made par 5 on 17...Needs par on 18 to be safe.. He has made it.. par at 18, -1 71 -11 total
So Matt and Chris join David Hearn, Mike Weir, and Stephen Ames on the PGA Tour next year..
The number keeps going back and forth -9 then -10 and right now Jon Mills is making a hell of a run at it. He is at -3 today on PL -7 thru 13 so needs a couple of birdies..
Richard T Lee is T73 a -2 total and is battling to get into the top 50 for full Nationwide Tour status before the re-shuffle ( 10 tournaments) as is Matt Richardson who is T93 at E..
