PGA Tour : Arnold Palmer Invitational Leaderboard
On a moving day Saturday, when Irish eyes weren't smiling. leader Shane Lowry had 2 doubles on a back nine 40 for 76, T -4 while his neighbour Rory McIlroy moved the wrong way with 3 bogey's in his last 4 holes for 73, T10 -3 and joining them Wyndham Clark with 5 bogey's and just 1 birdie 76, T13 -2 seemed to shoot themselves out of contention.
With Scottie Scheffler also T13 -2 and Bay Hill playing tough, Collin Morikawa 67 -10, Russell Henley 67 -9, Corey Conners 69 -8 and Jason Day 69 -7 are considered odds on favourites to share the lions share of the $20,000,000 come late Sunday afternoon.
The weather forecast is full of more sunshine, with a little breeze and it will be 80*f by the time they go out.
Somebody always comes from the pack with their best round of the week, and likely will today, but with the weather being ideal for everybody, there is nothing in it to separate the men from the boys.
If it were me I'd want to avoid a big number to shoot myself out of contention, and go for it when I had the opportunity, not before. Par is good at Bay Hill, and a friendly putter on championship Sunday a must.
