Aussie Lee 63 sets the Sunday standard in Texas... 54 hole scoreboard

PGA Tour : Texas Children's Houston Open Leaderboard

On a moving day when some leaders stalled, others improved, nobody could match 26 year old Aussie Min Woo Lee, younger brother to LPGA star Minjee Lee who was sensational with a -7 63 to take a 4 shot lead into Sunday at this version of the Texas Children's Houston Open on the Memorial GC.

Lee has posted rounds of 66, 64 and 63 at the Houston Open

He had eight one putt greens in a row, such was his ball striking, consistently long and accurate of the tee, " Every things clicking, I just feel good about it". He is at -17 and with 3 DP World Tour titles and an Asian tour win on his resume, he is looking for his first PGA Tour victory.

Argentinian , Alejandro Tosti who was in contention last year is next, his 65 sees him in at -13, then Scheffler 69, Ryan Fox from out of the wilderness 65, and Ryan Gerard 68,are all 5 behind at -12.

Such is golf, Scottie Scheffler who got into contention with his -8 62 where he made everything, only managed 1 birdie on Saturday. " Yesterday I made a bunch, today I felt like I couldn't get the ball to go in the hole"

Canada's Taylor Pendrith stalled as well, out in -1 34, then a birdie 3 at the 10th he was in good shape, but a bogey at 12, then the double at the 122 yard par3 15th when he pulled his tee shot well left then took 4 to get down put the brakes on, but he bounced back with a birdie 3 at the 17th, in for 70 and T10 -10.

Rory has shot 70 66 65 T14 -9 getting better each round as he preps for the Masters.

Other Canadians

Mac Hughes T14 69 66 66 -9 playing well this week

Adam Hadwin T24  69 66 67 -8 feeling a lot better after his little meltdown at the Valspar where he smashed a sprinkler head in a peak of temper, then bought the entire grounds crew lunch and paid to repair the sprinkler for his transgression.

Adam Svensson T64 67 68 73, moved the wrong way

Sunday WEATHER

High 70s F, not much rain, and wind increasing into afternoon (6-15mph N) for Houston, so wind may he a factor for the leaders later in the day.
