Singapore Open reduced to 54 holes

The field managed to complete round 2 early this morning, but torrential rain, thunder and lightning rolled in, leaving tournament organizers no choice but to reduce the event to 54 holes, and hope the weather co-operates enough to get that in.

Spain's Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano has taken a strong 3 shot lead into the final day after completing his second round with a brilliant -10, 61, -15 on the easier Tanjong course

He is three shots ahead of first-round leaders, Italian Edoardo Molinari 68 and Englishman James Morrison 68, while Filipino Juvic Pagunsan 66, is outright fourth at
-10. New Zealander Danny Lee 65, Northern Ireland's Michael Hoey 66, and Denmark's Anders Hansen 64, are a stroke further back at -9

Notables  Phil Mickelson T35, -4,71,67....Graeme McDowell T49,-3, 68,71
