Donald family welcomes baby Sophia Ann as Round 2 is suspended due to darkness at Singapore Open

First and foremost, Luke Donald and his wife Diane welcomed Sophia Ann into their championship family in Chicago in the early hours of this morning. Mother and daughter are doing well..  Meanwhile in Singapore...

England's James Morrison remained the clubhouse leader on -12 following a weather-disrupted second day at the Barclays Singapore Open after carding a -3 68 to head Edoardo Molinari by one stroke at Sentosa Golf Club.

The players, especially the Europeans are drinking as much as a bottle of water per hole in the stifling humidity of Singapore.

Morrison collected five birdies and two bogeys over the more difficult Serapong course to edge ahead of fellow overnight joint-leader Molinari who is -2 for the day through 10 holes, -11 total, when play was suspended due to darkness following a delay of almost 3 hours due to lunchtime thunderstorms

Gonzalo Fernandez-Castaño is T3 on -10 after the Spaniard blitzed the front nine of the Tanjong course with an eagle and 4 birdies before making a bogey at the 8th. He will return on in the wee hours of Saturday morning (1am est) to complete his inward nine.

Fernandez-Castaño joined Juvic Pagunsan after the Filipino returned an impressive -5 66 on the Serapong course that featured 6 birdies and a bogey. Michael Hoey backed up his opening -4 67 with a -5 66 to climb to -9

Headliner Phil Mickelson is at -2 through 12 holes and is in danger of missing the cut which is projected at -3.
