S.H Park and Pernilla Lindberg were cruising along in the lead on Saturday, when they were informed on the 12th tee that they were being put on the clock for slow play.
As it turns out it affected the South Korean more that the Swede. Park who shot 64 on Friday and was rolling with 4 birdies in 6 holes promptly made 3 bogey's and a double in her last 7 to stagger in at +3 74. Meanwhile Lindberg held her composure with a couple of birdies and a lone bogey for -2 70 and a -14 total.
She heads into today with a 3 shot lead over the pack, but that pack includes Moriya Jutanugarn, S.H Park and Inbee Park all at -10, and in my opinion nobody closes out majors any better than Inbee so I am watching for her patented charge today.
Alena Sharp wasn't sharp through her first nine with 5 bogey's (41), but battled back in 34. Her +3 74 drops her down to a T41 at -2. Brooke Henderson ruined a solid round with a double bogey 7 on the 18th, which turned a 68 into a 70, she is T49 at -1.
