Adam Hadwin ties for lead at Masters as Spieth starts double bogey, bogey

Adam Hadwin's opening round  -3 69 included -1 35 on the front nine, (8 pars, 1 birdie), then 4 more birdies and 2 bogey's  34 coming home. A very steady start, and he is in a group of 6 players at -3.

As I write that group, now at 7 players, leads the tournament halfway through round 2 as Jordan Spieth nearly lost his ball off the tee at the first, took a double bogey 6, then drove wildly at the 2nd for a bogey 6. He has lost 3 shots in 2 holes, giving up his 2 shot overnight lead.

Today, Hadwin is in the last pairing with Charlie Hoffman (69-3) and Patrick Reed (69 -3) at 2pm and as I noted in my previous post the late wave has the most wind of the day, gusting up to 15mph right now with the flags whipping, as opposed to 5mph in the morning..

That wind plus some tough pins is making scoring more difficult today..

The scoreboard link above will keep you up to date as the lead is changing now hole by hole.

The tee times will provide scorecards and bios on every player.

More to follow....
