Europe leads 7-5 after morning foursomes. fourball pairings..

It's a beautiful morning in Killeen Ireland, calm and sunny which is exactly how the European team is feeling as the Swedish pair of Caroline Hedwall and Sophie Gustafson have just trounced Angela Stanford and Stacy Lewis 6&5 in the first match of the day.

American captain Rosy Jones said " I went against my gut, but Stacy wanted to go out with Angela again today to prove something and this is a tough loss, it's a pretty big stage to learn a lesson on. these girls are two of my horses"

Maria Hjorth and Anna Nordqvist are 4 up with 6 to play aginst Julie Inkster and Brittany Lang, but the other 2 matches are AS as Creamer and Kerr battle Matthew and Munoz through 12 holes and Stupples and Boeljon lock up with O'Toole and Pressel playing 14.

The score is 5.5 -3.5 for Europe right now and I will be updating all day

update.. Morgan Pressel and Ryann o'Toole combined to win 3&2 over Christel Boeljon and Karen Stupples, now 5.5 - 4.5 Europe.

update.. Hjorth &Nordqvist have closed out Lang and Inkster 3&2
6.5 - 4.5 Europe. The last match is a beauty with Creamer and Kerr AS playing 17 vs Matthew and Spanish sensation Azahara Munoz who just made a great putt on 16 to square the match. Paula Creamer has been brilliant and hasn't lost yet this week.

update..  Creamer and Kerr fail to get up and down on 18 make bogey, Match halved with Matthew and Munoz, right result after both pairs were great

Europe leads 7-5 going into afternoon fourballs
