Deutsche Bank up for grabs in Boston on Labour Day

Yesterday the early flight didn't have any wind to contend with and we talked about 63's and 64's, but in the afternoon the wind picked up and swirled and made the back nine " a very different golf course" according to the leader Bubba Watson (70) -11 total.

Well today there are 23 guys within 4 shots of his lead, and how they score will depend as it does so often on the wind, which is scheduled to blow at up to 25kph.

Last year Charlie Hoffman came from 4 shots back, fired a 62 to win but I don't see that happening today in the wind.

However it will separate the men from the boys and anyone of those 23 guys that shoots 65 or 66 will be the winner or in the playoff.

It's a strong group as it should be in the 2nd round of the playoffs so there are a ton of story lines like Jason Day -10 who has been solid all year and was 2nd here last year, Jim Furyk -9 now where has he been all year, Adam Scott -10 who started all this long putter craze, Luke Donald -9 going who can win both tours, Robert Karlsson -8, the hottest of the bunch over the last 45 holes, Mickelson -7 who is striking it as well as "I ever have"

Old guys, young studs, Yanks, Swedes, Aussie's, Springboks, an Englishman, all in contention, I'm betting they will need more than 18 holes..

It all starts at 7.35 this morning with the final pair off at 1.45pm. Tee times click
